Shop for a Cause at the Annual Power of the Purse™

The must-attend auction event features a night of food, drinks and entertainment to support poverty reduction in Memphis.

Join the Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis (WFGM) for a night of Food, Fun and Fashion at the 2022 Power of the Purse™ on Thursday, October 27 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Grand Pavilion Carousel of the Children’s Museum of Memphis. Presented by Bank of America, the live and a silent auction event will feature an entertaining evening with food, drinks and shopping.

Each year WFGM hosts the Power of the Purse™ as a signature fundraiser to bring the Memphis community together to shop, have fun, network and support the impact work of the Women’s Foundation. All proceeds support WFGM’s grantmaking and Vision 2025 Strategic Plan to reduce poverty and increase investment in five Memphis neighborhoods by 2025.

The Co-Chairs for the event are Trevia Chatman, President, Bank of America, and Christine Gant, Director of Business Development, Gant Systems, both members of WFGM’s Board of Directors. The Honorary Co-Chairs are Chantall Jenkins, Community Volunteer, Philanthropist and wife of Memphis Grizzlies Head Coach Taylor Jenkins, and Tammy Sneed, Aircraft Material Strategic Sourcing, FedEx.

VIP Experience tickets are $100 and include a pre-event reception at 5:30 p.m. with specialty cocktails and a VIP swag bag. General admission is $50 and includes food and wine. Tickets can be purchased at event.gives/2022pop.
